Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our client's team in Springfield, Ohio for a contract to hire (permanent) position. Responsibilities: • Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all deliveries. • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to handle materials and inventory. • Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory using data entry systems, including Dynamics and Excel. • Validate cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Organize and receive materials systematically to support operational efficiency. • Monitor and adhere to shipping schedules, ensuring deadlines are met without errors. • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve any shipping or receiving issues. • Utilize accounting and billing systems to track and process shipments as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to optimize productivity and safety. Requirements • Proficiency in Excel and other computer programs relevant to shipping and receiving. • Certification in forklift operation with demonstrated experience handling materials safely. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory management. • Familiarity with Dynamics or similar enterprise resource planning software. • Ability to validate and reconcile inventory through cycle counts. • Effective communication skills to coordinate with various teams and stakeholders. • Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including tracking and scheduling. • Organizational skills to manage materials and maintain orderly workflows.
