Unloads inbound and outbound shipments safely and moves products to storage locations. Efficiently stacks and stores the merchandise in the appropriate areas. Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Reports quality variances. Pulls and prepares orders for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Efficiently moves product from staging/storage areas and production lines into trailers and/or storing/staging areas Loads, unloads, moves, stacks, and stages product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment. Maintains the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Daily inspects on the forklift or other equipment. Keeps appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Performs or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required Keep appropriate records and reports (complete forms, logs, inventory and records accurately – as required) Perform shipping and billing duties. Other duties as assigned by managers and/or supervisors. **The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:** Must have 1 year of experience in an industrial shipping & receiving department. Excellent computer skills and prior use of a shipping database program are required.
