Job Responsibilities:

Prepares shipping documents for all domestic and export shipments without assistance or error.Set up carriers for shipment pick-up. (LTL)Coordinates trailer movements with trucking company.Create and print bar code labels.Solve Bill of Lading exception problems.Identifies hazardous materials for shipment.Monitor status of ASNs at Nascote and in Ford DDL (and other customer specific software) screen and take appropriate action independently.Expedite or trace hot shipments.Monitor movement of transfer loads.Files claims with carriers as required.Maintains an acceptable attendance record and works overtime as required.Orders and maintains office supplies for area.Maintains a clean and safe work area.Participates in department meetings.Submits cost reduction and Innovation ideas.Required - One year continuous work experience.Must have good computer skills including use of AIM system.  Pay Range $55,000 - $60,000Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
