Job Responsibilities: In charge of the outbound supply chain of an JIS production plantLiaison with Production scheduling to ensure timely shipping of productsComplete understanding of the paperwork required for all outbound shipmentsLiaison with the customers as needed to ensure timely scheduling of customer shipping requirementsCoordinate staging process with forklift personnel for JIS and batch shipmentsPrimary contact for customers shipping activitiesEnsure FIFO is being performedCreate daily ship schedules and monitoring/modifying daily ship schedules in accordance with customer demandCoordinating shipping schedule using customer portals as well as communication with carriersEnsure shipping documentation is prepared in accordance with Magna proceduresSending and monitoring ASN’s according to customer requirementsMaintaining customer routings, monitoring and reporting carrier performance issuesResponsible for record retention of BOL and customer documentationMonitor and interact with customer shipping portals

Requirements:

Logistics/Supply Chain Diploma/Degree preferred or 3+ years’ experience working with Suppliers/Inventory Control/ Customer Service or combination of education and experienceAbility to work in a team as well as performing tasks aloneAbility to multi-task/prioritize and work with little supervisionExcellent mathematical skills, good computer skills and attention to detailExperience with SAP R/3 preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)Ability to operate a forkliftAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
