Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be part of the logistics department supporting efficient shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Location: Harahan, LA

Pay Range: $18 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

What's the Job?

Verify every shipment has all required parts and in the correct quantities. Communicate backlogged parts orders to the Logistics Coordinator. Label all packages appropriately prior to shipment. Assist in loading and unloading of parts and equipment. Organize storage of crating and boxing materials to maintain good condition. This is a 6 weeks project.

What's Needed?

Capable of becoming proficient with software (MAPICS, Sharepoint, etc.). Fluent in written and spoken English. Self-managed and a team player. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy. Able to work overtime or Saturdays when needed.
