**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to ensure the accuracy of material receipts and outside plant processes while maintaining a fast and accurate flow of product through the warehouse and custom products. **Responsibilities** + Maintain good attendance. + Collaborate effectively with company personnel, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner. + Unload incoming shipments from trucks using a forklift or manually, check for damage and shortage, and sign bills of lading noting any exceptions. + Place all received items on the shelf in their designated space. + Load outgoing shipments as required and assist with the preparation of outbound shipment documents. + Document all received shipments and match them with open purchase orders for accuracy. + Receipt of RMA's (Returned Material), confirm with open RMA's for validity, and ensure all items (part numbers and quantities) are correct. + Assist with data entry of received goods. + Support other warehouse material functions as required. + Maintain the receiving area in a clean and proper manner as prescribed by the Warehouse Manager. + Commitment to protecting the environment and the health and safety of employees, customers, and neighbors, while continuously improving the Environmental Management System. **Essential Skills** + Experience with forklift operations. + Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes. + Skills in packaging, packing, and picking. + Experience using RF scanners. + Ability to load and manage warehouse inventory. + Experience with FedEx shipping. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with SAP is a plus. + Strong willingness to learn and a proactive approach. + Critical thinking skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a small, laid-back team where you can enjoy the benefits of profit sharing with a 5% 401k match, generous PTO, 12 paid holidays, a Christmas bonus, and yearly performance-based bonuses. **Work Environment** The work environment is a warehouse setting with no air conditioning, so it can get hot. However, large overhead fans are installed throughout the facility. The position is for the first shift, from 7 AM to 4 PM, with a 30-minute to 1-hour unpaid lunch break. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, Georgia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
