Job Description

Onin Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Associate for a leading parts distributor in the Wendell, NC area. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of shipping processes, especially experience completing and managing Bills of Lading (BOLs).

Pay rate: $17.00/hr.Monday to Friday. Weekends as needed.1st shift - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Temp to Perm.Affordable health insurance you can actually use, including $5 copays, $5 prescriptions, and free Telehealth services
Key Responsibilities:Prepare, complete, and review Bills of Lading (BOLs) for outgoing shipments.Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipment.Interpret packing slips and enter shipment details into computer systems.Coordinate shipping through UPS/FedEx and internal logistics systems.Identify and report defective or questionable materials.Estimate weight and dimensions for shipping cost calculations.Operate standard material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Work Experience
What We’re Looking For:2+ years of warehouse or shipping experience.Strong experience completing BOLs and working with carrier systems (FedEx, UPS).Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook.Ability to read and write English and perform basic math.Experience with material handling equipment.
