Senior On-Site Service Specialist, WH
POSITION PROFILE
This role provides operational support in one or more of the following areas: high-volume duplicating, mail and fax handling, shipping and receiving, copier maintenance, and general office support. Additional responsibilities may include bindery, quality control, housekeeping, reception, and light building maintenance. This position reports to the Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or Assistant Site Manager, depending on the site configuration.
Key Responsibilities Operate high-volume copy machines and perform binding and finishing work Conduct daily inspections of convenience copiers; clear jams and report issues Perform repair services on customer copier equipment Maintain records for management reports and supply inventories Distribute office supplies, mail, and fax transmissions Calculate job charges and maintain billing logs Respond to and coordinate service calls Perform filing duties and document archiving Deliver completed jobs to designated locations Maintain daily meter and service logs Travel between customer buildings as needed Answer customer inquiries regarding job status and feasibility Maintain copier areas in a clean and stocked condition Handle shipping and receiving of materials Set up meeting and conference rooms Assist with internal office moves and light maintenance tasks Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts Perform occasional cleaning duties Work overtime, including nights and weekends, as required Use various office and bindery equipment (e.g., shrink-wrap machine, paper cutter, stapler) Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 1–2 years of related work experience preferred Valid driver’s license and auto insurance may be required Forklift/warehouse equipment certification may be required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Familiarity with copier and related equipment; repair knowledge preferred Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures Basic electronics knowledge is a plus Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to read and understand technical manuals and documentation Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills Working Conditions and Physical Demands Frequent exposure to copier noise, toner, and varying temperatures Potential for minor injuries (e.g., paper cuts, lifting) Exposure to outdoor weather when moving between buildings High-stress environment due to tight deadlines Physical activity including standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and pushing/pulling equipment (up to 400 lbs) Regular interaction with customers, team members, and vendors.
