Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Description

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for discrepancies and damages, and promptly reporting any issues. You will efficiently store materials and supplies within the warehouse, handle loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, and verify quantities and serial numbers of merchandise.

ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies and damage.Store materials and supplies within the warehouse according to part number and/or description.Load and unload delivery vehicles, including operating fork trucks and stocking merchandise.Verify quantities of deliveries and merchandise serial numbers.Visually inspect deliveries for damage and notify management of discrepancies.Complete customer orders by obtaining appropriate material from storage.Prepare shipments, including boxing materials, labeling, and completing paperwork.Essential SkillsProficiency in inventory management.Experience in shipping and receiving.Ability to perform inventory control and order selection.Skill in picking, packing, and kitting.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Experience in data entry is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment can be loud, and the facility is climate-controlled. The standard shift hours are Monday to Wednesday from 6 am to 3:30 pm, Thursday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and Friday from 7 am to 12 pm, offering a half-day on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
