Shipping and Receiving Associate
Job Description Company Overview: Sampco Companies is a marketing and sample production firm that specializes in creating physical marketing tools for the building materials industry. Their work revolves around helping brands win the moment with potential buyers by designing and producing high-quality sample boards, presentation kits, and branded collateral that showcase products like siding, roofing, flooring, windows, doors, ceramic tiles, brick, and more. Role: Shipping and Receiving Associate Duration: Permanent Location: Rincon, GA 31326 Shift: M-F 7 AM - 3:30 PM EST (No Weekends) D2D: Managing incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintaining accurate records of all product. Receiving, unpacking, and inspecting incoming materials. Preparing items for shipment by verifying product specifications and packing them appropriately. Utilizing computer systems to track inventory and shipments. Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing shipments. Performing picking and packing using forklift and pallet jack. Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries. Benefits: 401K and 401K matching. Health, life, vision, and dental insurance. PTO. Sick time accrual, starting on first day. Physical Demands: Must be comfortable consistently standing, walking, pushing/pulling, and lifting items. Items could range from 35-70 pounds. Skills and Requirements Must Haves: Forklift or pallet jack experience. 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment. Experience receiving, unpacking, and inspecting incoming materials. Ability to load and unload trucks efficiently. Knowledge of picking, packing, and inventory management. Experience using an ERP or MRP system. Strong attention to detail and work ethic. RELIABILITY. Plusses: Forklift Certification.
