Responsible for scanning to receiptEnsure dock locks or wheel chocks are in place while loading/off-loading trucks with a ForkliftOperating a Forklift to load and unload trucks as requiredComplete necessary shipping/receiving documents as per process manualOrganize warehouse part storage locations per warehouse planScan shipments to general Bill of Lading and transmit and verify ASN’s (Advanced Shipment Notifications)Complete lift truck daily inspection and fill out check sheet prior to start of each shiftOperate Forklift to move empty packaging to home locationsPerform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplaceComply with the requirements of C-TPAT/PIPConduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with the Magna Code of ConductReport all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behaviorAdhere to applicable quality systems and IATF-16949 standardsAdhere to and promote the Employee Charter and work within the rules, regulations and guidelines of the Plastcoat Employee HandbookParticipate in and support Continuous Improvement initiativesMaintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standardsEnsure work area is kept neat and organizedPerform other duties as requiredSKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Minimum completion of Grade 12 diplomaValid Forklift LicenseEXPERIENCE:
Minimum 1-year Forklift driving experience in a busy manufacturing environmentSKILLS:
