Your Role:
MilliporeSigma Bellevue designs and manufactures proprietary testing platforms for the detection of foodborne pathogens. The Production Planning department is responsible for all functions of the warehouse including, but not limited to shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
As a Shipper / Receiver 1, you will be responsible for:
Picking and packing orders, including non-routine shipping requests from other departments. Shipping domestic and international orders through small parcel and freight carriers using carrier software and/or website to create shipping documents Putting away materials in proper location based on required temperature storage of goods. Moving product from one location to another physically and through the ERP system. Identify potential warehouse space optimization improvementsPerform inventory transactions, identifying Non-Conforming Material, and completing cycle counts as needed. Responsible for entering the correct part numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, locations, document numbers, and quantities into ERP systemUpdate the Outbound Shipment tracking report in Teams, as neededMaintain Dangerous Goods certifications and process these shipments, as neededPrimary back-up to warehouse Receiving position, as neededPrimary person for Equipment Repair processing and completion of work ordersPrimary back-up for processing manufacturing work ordersMaintain flexibility with changing priorities as directed, which may include working overtimePerforms other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED with 1+ years experience in warehousing & logistics and experience with ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to operate material handling equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.Organizational skills and problem-solving abilitiesFamiliarity with Oracle, SAP or ERP equivalentBasic math and computer skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeTime-management skillsFlexibility to changing priorities and schedulesLifting up to 50 poundsExperience working in a team environment
Pay Range for this position: $23.07-$26.44/hour
