Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates and supervises the shift operations, ensuring operational performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Accountabilities :
Supervises shift operations, coordinating, instructing and scheduling work of operators and coordinating tasks and resources to meet production targets and deadlines. Leads operational shift teams and provides training, guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and safe work environment. Directs all personnel actions. Ensures that all team members receive required instructions in safety procedures, proper use of equipment, performance standards, disciplinary processes, and other workplace and company policies, procedures and practices. Monitors operational performance and implements improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. Oversees and ensures all work is completed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and company guidelines, processes and policies. Manages the availability of tools, parts, and resources required for maintenance and operational tasks. Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate activities, resolve issues and contiuously improve processes.

Communication and Networking: Communicates with a range of internal and external contacts to facilitate the smooth execution of shift duties.

Education:
Licensed Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer or equivalentExperience:
At least 5 years working experience in Gas Engine Power Plant preferably GECC with supervisory experienceGeneral Skills :
With good communication skills Computer literate with MS Office Team worker Effective in managing costProfessional Skills;
Knowledgeable in Gas Engine Power Plant and Steam Turbine Generator System including auxiliaries Knowledgeable in Diesel Power Plant Systems including auxiliaries Knowledgeable in HSE protocols Knowledgeable in controls and automation Knows how to evaluate drawings and flow charts Knowledgeable in Electrical System is an advantage
