**Shift Supervisor - Bushnell, IL**
Position is responsible for providing direction to hourly and salary nonexempt production crew. The candidate will coordinate communication, personnel, resources and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant during the shift. Must be able to communicate expectation and goals for safety, quality, productivity, reliability, environmental compliance and operating costs. Takes an active role in managing the shift and coaching employees to reach their fullest potential by providing feedback in a manner that is effective, consistent and fair. This position reports to Plant Superintendent and Plant Manager.
**Requirements**
+ Demonstrates strong commitment enforcing and improving quality initiatives
+ Promote and display positive attitude
+ Must promote, train and supervise employees in all safety initiatives
+ Take a hands-on active role in managing shift with 7 to 10 team members and employee performance
+ Responsible for scheduling of staff during call off’s and ensuring cross-training is performed sufficiently to maintain safe and efficient performance of the site during all shifts.
+ Supports and engages in ADM Performance Excellence efforts
+ Troubleshooting skills and the ability to plan work
+ Detail oriented with strong organizational and record keeping skills
+ Excellent communication (spoken and written), listening and teamwork skills
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. walk long distances, stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights, bending, kneeling, working with tools, work in extreme temperature conditions, and work in a dusty environment
+ Regular, prompt attendance and ability to work rotating shift schedule including nights, weekends and holidays, willing to accept after-hours call ins when necessary
+ Computer literate in Maximo, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and desire to enhance skills through education and training
+ High school diploma or equivalent combined with 5 years’ experience in maintenance and or operations
+ Leadership experience, having direct experience in successfully leading change
+ Passion for process improvement
+ Strong interpersonal and conflict management/resolution skills
+ Able to represent management professionally and efficiently to internal/external customers
**Responsibilities**
+ Ownership for the safety of self and other team members
+ LOTO of equipment to be worked on
+ Assignment of Jobs to personnel
+ Prepare Permits
+ Check on progress of jobs
+ Answer Personnel Questions – or find the information needed
+ Communicate with Maintenance / Help with Operation’s Maintenance Issues
+ Call in maintenance, management, commercial, or shift coverage help as needed
+ Write work orders in Maximo
+ Work with maintenance supervision to minimize equipment down time
+ Help diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues
+ Assist in writing of JCCs and SOPs for production activities
+ Enforce company plans, policies, and rules
+ Lead team meetings and follow up on action items
+ Preparing quarterly reviews for hourly personnel
+ Responsible to communicate shift performance, downtime issues, Root Cause analysis results for shift, and other incident reports as occasion requires
+ Assist safety manager on reporting incidents, near misses and performing investigations and completing corrective actions
+ Assist Quality Manager on reporting quality incidents, near misses and performing investigations and completing corrective actions
+ Lead his/her team in achieving Zero recordable / lost work day injuries
+ Experience that would be beneficial, but not required: experience with single screw extruders, pneumatic conveyors, screw augers and chain conveyors, bucket elevators and TVP manufacturing

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
