Job Title: Overnight Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Detroit, MI
Pay: $27 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Weekends as needed)
Employment Type: Full-Time

A well-established logistics provider is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead overnight operations at a Detroit facility. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong warehouse management experience and the ability to guide a night shift team to success.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of warehouse associates and forklift operators

Oversee overnight operations including picking, staging, loading, unloading, and put-away

Ensure safe and proper use of forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks

Train and support staff to meet performance and safety standards

Communicate effectively with other shift leaders and management

Sign and verify incoming Bills of Lading (BOLs)

Manage inventory movement and ensure accurate tracking using handheld devices and barcode systems

Perform daily equipment checks and maintain documentation

Address and report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment

Track attendance, assist with scheduling, and handle shift transitions

Enforce compliance with company policies and safety procedures

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of warehouse supervisory or team lead experience

Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience (certification preferred)

High school diploma or GED required

Willingness to work overnight and weekends as needed

Ability to lead by example and perform physical walkthroughs and equipment inspections

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in a warehouse setting

Familiarity with inventory systems (SAP experience is a plus)

Strong communication, reasoning, and basic math skills

Steel toe boots required
