We are currently seeking Senegalese nationals to join our team as Shift Supervisors at our Bel Air C6 site in Dakar, Senegal.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing shift operations, ensuring optimal performance while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Supervise shift operations, coordinate, instruct and schedule work of operators and coordinate tasks and resources to meet production targets and deadlines. Lead operational shift teams and provide training, guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and safe work environment. Direct all personnel actions. Ensure that all team members receive required instructions in safety procedures, proper use of equipment, performance standards, disciplinary processes, and other workplace and company policies, procedures and practices. Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. Oversee and ensure all work is completed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and company guidelines, processes and policies. Manage the availability of tools, parts, and resources required for maintenance and operational tasks. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate activities, resolve issues and continuously improve processes.

 

Education & experience:

Higher National Diploma(HND) or Degree in Engineering(B.Eng) or Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical/Mechanical/Electromechanical 5 years of relevant work experience in power plant operations Handson working experience in any Wartsila engines Proficiency in English & French language.
