From endlessly recyclable aluminum cans, and cups, to aerosol bottles, our goal is to contribute to a better community, society, and world.** **Position overview:** The Shift Manager is responsible for building and leading an effective, cohesive and committed team, which will maintain maximum safety, quality, spoilage and production standards. **Key responsibilities include:** + Being the ambassador of Balls culture, driving the right behaviours amongst all plant employees + Responsible for the production process as a whole in accordance with the planned performance + Responsible for material and tooling supply + Ensure job distribution and arrangement within shift + Effectively manage all areas of manufacturing (includes safety, quality, production, scrap, personnel issues, etc.) + Prepare production reports + Take part in development and maintenance of the integrated management system + Undertake the responsibilities of Quality Control Manager and Mechanical Supervisor during holiday and night shifts + Detect beforehand the problems that can avoid production and ensure them to be solved + Ensure cleanness of production areas and machineries, as providing all workers pay attention to this matter **What are we looking for?** + Previous experience in a people leading role within manufacturing industry and24/7 environment + Problem solving/total quality skills + Analytical skills to interpret numerical data + Good understanding of modern lean manufacture technique + Working knowledge of Health and Safety work practices + Fluency in written and spoken English **Ball Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
