As a liaison to the management, the shift leader is responsible for the organization and development of his maintenance team. The scope of responsibility ranges from personnel allocation and individual personnel development to maintaining qualifications.

\n\nOrganization of tasks assigned to the team, coordination of derived work orders, among others with support departments\nEnsuring the effective & proper completion of assigned tasks\nPromotion of efficient resource use and careful handling of operating resources\nOngoing coordination & reporting on the technical fleet status within the task area\nCoordination of shift staffing, control of presence & absence times\nIndividual personnel development including coordination of qualifications and conducting feedback discussions\nActive promotion of process understanding, compliance and continuous improvement\nWillingness to conduct internal workshops and training and to participate in appropriate qualifications\n

YOUR PROFILE\n\n\nCompleted degree and several years of relevant professional experience or long-term relevant professional experience\nHolder of a Part 66 CAT B1 or B2 license with type rating for aircraft maintenance\nAt least 5 years of professional experience with wide-body aircraft\nAt least 3 years of experience as a manager in the aviation industry\nKnowledge of legal requirements, labor law, aviation law\nKnowledge of MS Office and programs such as AIMS, Trax\nVery good German and English skills\nAnalytical thinking combined with communication & organizational talent, motivating for team members\nPronounced social skills and leadership experience\nCommitted and reliable working method, constant role model for employees\nMediation skills & persuasive power\nWillingness to lead the team in shift work\n\n\nOUR OFFER\n\n
