Shift Lead
Job Summary: The Shift Manager is responsible for making sure team members complete all assigned duties and serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner. You will also ensure that the restaurant is a safe place for team members to work and customers to visit. You support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) by running great work shifts and meeting Taco Bell standards. You take ownership and responsibility to solve problems, seek help when needed and are willing to help and guide others. Ensures speed of service standards are maintained throughout shift. + Prepares food products and maintains quality of product to meet company standards. + Monitor all service equipment. + Ensures a clean and safe work environment including parking lot, building exterior, dumpster and sidewalks, and removal of trash within containers to proper dumpster site(s). + Communicate openly and honestly with Restaurant Management about operational issues and concerns. + Ensures food levels are maintained to meet business needs and stocks as needed. + Builds team moral through recognition and motivation efforts. + Prepares deposits, providing feedback on schedules, product projections, financials for store manager's review/approval + Ensures staff are complying with all policies, procedures, and standards. • + Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: + Friendly attitude, great customer service skills • + Strong verbal, reading and strong math skills. + Detail orientated with the ability to multitask and prioritize. + Ability to lead a team of associates in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that all proper food safety precautions are satisfied. + Demonstrate patience and a positive attitude while delegating tasks and giving instructions. + Capable of making quick and appropriate decisions. + Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems. Education/Experience: At least 6 months' work experience in a food or customer service position with responsibility for running a shift. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: 18 years old or older Legal right to work in the United States. Able to lift 10-40 pounds, reach with arms and hands, stand and walk for long periods. • Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
