We are currently seeking a Site Based Electrical Shift Engineer with building service experience to join our team! Covering multiple sites under one client contract within central London.

Location: London - SW1

Core hours: 7-7 - days and night - 3 on 3 off. The role requires “Foot” travel between sites,

Electrical Shift Engineer supporting Technical Lead, shift teams and client’s facilities manager, carry out daily checks of all critical assets & system management across the sites, completing daily reports, to site

Engineering Manager and client both UK & USA, along with providing engineering knowledge to the team. The role is currently “minimal use of tools”.

The role requires “Foot” travel between sites, Our aim is to grow and bring all PPMs and reactive works inhouse.

Duties & Responsibilities

To carry out daily checks of all critical assets, and record findings.Produce technical and situational reports as required.Proactively use the technology systems given to you so that the Company can always be compliant with its contractual obligations.Always carry out the works requested in a professional and proactive manner.To communicate clearly and effectively with the rest of the team and clients always.Writing activity reports in line with Company procedures accurately and timely.Proactively assisting the management team to produce quotations by giving accurate and good quality information where extra works are identified.Attending team meetings/briefings as always requested.To provide accurate time sheet information weekly and on time.To ensure that the Company is always presented in a good light.To escalate any major site issues or incidents to your line manager asap once noticed.

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:

C&G Level 2 and 3 Diploma Electrical InstallationC&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or 2330 Levels 2 & 3Test & Inspection18th edition certificateBasic plumbing skillsStrong Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance experienceKnowledge of heating and air conditioning systemsKnowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs when required.Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations with regards to maintenance activities.Have good communication and organisation skills.Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude.Ability to work on own or as part of a team.
