Our Christchurch Engineering team is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Electrical Engineer to join our maintenance crew. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out emergency, preventative, and corrective maintenance on equipment to achieve world-class line efficiency Collaborate with Production Departments, Site Services, Maintenance Technicians, Shift Fitters, calibration technicians, contractors, and Project electricians to ensure seamless operations Work within our Mainpac Maintenance system to capture work, allocate parts, and complete tasks efficiently Achieve departmental KPIs and contribute to reducing customer complaints Adhere to MAF regulations and demonstrate role model behavior in following company Health and Safety policies Contribute to achieving business sustainability targets through efficient use and disposal of resources Identify and action hazards, and share information and ideas to drive continuous improvement

About you:

A registered and licensed electrician with experience in industrial electrical maintenance Experience working with PLC – preferred Mechanical background – a bonus for us! Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong commitment to health and safety, and sustainability
