THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: THE SHEETING MANAGER
1.0 PURPOSE:
1.1. This document prescribes the expectations, skills, and education / experience requirements for the position
identified.
2.0 ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1. Execute job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
2.2. Compliance with Safety policies and Safety expectations.
2.3. Each person, regardless of role or position, is responsible for Food Packaging Safety and Quality and GMP.
2.4. Report any issue or event that poses a risk to employee safety, the environment and facilities, or food
packaging safety and quality.
2.5. Ensure that a safe workplace is always maintained and that the habits and practices of every employee hold
safety as the top priority.
2.6. Create and maintain a strong safety culture.
2.7. Compliance of all employees and processes with all food safety and quality regulations (SQF, HACCP) as
well as ISO regulations.
2.8. Clean up around machine/designated areas.
2.9. Assist Machine operator with set up of machine per job specification.
2.10. Ability to independently set up assigned area of the machine to specific job.
2.11. Identify areas of concern and communication with Operator.
2.12. Load/unload sheets from machine.
2.13. Assisting with quality checks on the product they produce and materials coming to their machine.
2.14. Assist with make-readies.
2.15. Perform preventive maintenance and upkeep on production equipment.
2.16. Keep area in specs within all 5S requirements.
2.17. Work in a fast-paced environment. Complete tasks in a timely manner.
2.18. Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and instructions.
2.19. Participate in continuous improvement activities, corrective actions, plant/corporate safety events, and
training.
2.20. Perform other related tasks as assigned
3.0 EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
3.1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
3.2. Ability to follow instructions.
3.3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
3.4. Able to read a tape measure and basic math skills.
3.5. Basic computer skills and data entry.
4.0 ABSENCE PROVISION
4.1. Another comparable position will back up this position in the event of an absence.

5.0 ESSENTIAL/MARGINAL FUNCTIONS and PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
5.1. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Heavy manufacturing duties, walking around the plant, communicating.
5.2. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: Computer work, desk work.
