Description:Overview
You will be the Sheet Metal Fabrication and Assembler C for our Grand Prairie team. Our team is responsible for performing complex sheet metal assembly operations to support the development of experimental, production, and prototype missile systems and other assemblies.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sheet Metal Fabrication and Assembler C, you will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and reworking a wide variety of semi-complicated parts and assemblies. You will be an integral part of our team, working together to deliver high-quality results and drive innovation.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing sheet metal assembly operations on complex parts, details, and assemblies
• Constructing simple checking and holding fixtures, making simple templates and form blocks
• Assembling semi-complicated assemblies, riveting, hand hammering, and performing close tolerance drilling and reaming
• Operating sheet metal equipment such as brakes, rolls, and routers, and using hand tools as required
• Fabricating special equipment as needed and assisting with more difficult work, including rigging operations and straightening of shafts and beams
• Maintaining required paperwork and keeping your work area clean and orderly

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
