Job Description
We are seeking a Sheet Metal Assembler who can efficiently and accurately assemble components and materials in accordance with plans and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a experience in carpentry, roofing, or mechanical assembly and will be responsible for working with metal cladding, insulation, and steel components. This role requires understanding written and verbal instructions, following drawings, and adhering to work instructions to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble structural metal building panels in a manufacturing setting.Operate hand and power tools.Use measuring devices accurately, including squares and tape measures.Participate in safe material handling and suspended load movements.Follow instructions and execute assigned duties.Complete tasks within set timeframes to ensure goals are met.Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience with sheet metal fabrication, repair, assembly, and installation.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Proficient in using tape measures down to 1/16th of an inch.High school diploma, general education degree, or vocational degree.2+ years of experience in siding, roofing, metalworking, or assembly.Skillful in operating non-specialized shop equipment.Ability to select and properly use tools for tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to read blueprints is highly desirable.Experience as a small part/electrical assembler or industrial assembler is preferred.A positive attitude is required; negative individuals are not tolerated.Must be knowledgeable about the company prior to interviewing.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors. The building is open-air, and the role involves working in a team of 2-3 people. Employees are regularly required to have a full range of mobility in the upper and lower body, be able to reach overhead, and work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting. Handling objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, and lifting up to 70 pounds is required.
