Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Sheet Metal Assembler located in USA, Fontana Ca.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Sheet Metal Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated metal parts for enclosure buildings according to specifications.

What a typical day looks like:

Review, analyze, and follow various blueprints, diagrams, drawing, procedures, and work instructions to complete enclosure building assembliesAssemble sheet metal panels for enclosure building doors, walls, roofs, and trussesUses various power tools and hand tools (ex. Drills, impacts, screwdrivers, grinders, etc.) to accomplish assigned tasksConduct quality assurance checks to confirm that assembled products meet specifications and quality standardsIdentify any product defects; record and report them accordinglyMonitor and maintain inventory of necessary supplies, tools, and parts in workstationMaintain a clean and safe work areaPerform all other duties as assigned

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

High School Diploma or equivalent1+ years’ experience in a related capacityPrior experience in assemblyPrior experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferredPrior experience operating powered equipment (forklift, reach truck, scissors lift, overhead crane, etc.)Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accuratelyKnowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety managementReading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, and engineering diagramsBasic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurementsBasic understanding of tools (ex. Tape measure, impact drill, etc.)Demonstrated proficiency with the ability to safety operate powered equipment (forklift, reach truck, scissors lift, overhead crane, etc.)
