The Position

Regulatory & Compliance

Implement and monitor compliance with local SHE regulations and corporate policies in production.

Maintain ISO management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and support audits.

Formulate and revise the safety rules and regulations and management  procedures of the Manufacturing department to ensure compliance with national    regulations, industry standards and internal requirements of the enterprise.

Participate in the preparation of safety operation procedures, clarify the safety precautions in each production process and provide accurate safety guidance for the employee operation.

Safety Culture & Training​​

Promote SHE awareness and develop a proactive safety culture in production.

Plan and organize safety publicity activities, such as safety month activities,     safety knowledge competition, etc. Create a strong safety culture atmosphere   and improve staff safety awareness.

Plan to set up a safety publicity board in the production area. Put up safety  slogans, posters, Wechat tweets to show the latest safety regulations, accident cases, etc. and always remind employees to pay attention to safety.

Organize and deliver secondary SHE training for employees.

Regularly organize Manufacturing staff to participate in safety training, special    equipment and on-job training management, covering fire safety, chemical use  safety, equipment operation, maintenance safety, etc

Risk Management

Conduct SHE risk assessments and track mitigation measures in manufacturing plants.

Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Lead to formulate and regularly review the safety risk assessment, use professional knowledge to accurately identify the potential risks and put forward rectification suggestions and plans. 

Formulate the emergency plan and emergency drill organization of the Manufacturing department, including fire, leakage and other emergency response plans. Ensure a clear process and clear division of labor.

Daily manage the emergency supplies, regular inspection, maintenance and updating to ensure that supplies are available at critical moments.

On-site Inspections & Improvements

Perform regular SHE inspections, report findings, and follow up on corrective actions.

Coordinate emergency drills (e.g., API spill response).

Organize routine or safety accident sharing related Gemba of potential risk  investigation. Record the potential risk in time and follow up rectification.

Continue to follow up the rectification status until the potential risk is completely eliminated, realizing the closed-loop management.

Documentation & Reporting

Assist workshops in maintaining SHE records (e.g., inspection logs).

Prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.

Establish the Manufacturing safety database management, standardize the recording, collection and organization of all safety related data in Manufacturing.

Through data analysis, find out the weak links of safety management. Provide data support for targeted improvement actions and realize the continuous  optimization of safety management.

Cooperation & Communication

Cooperate closely with the SHE department. Attend the site safety committee as  the Manufacturing safety responsible person, timely report the Manufacturing safety situation and implement the safety instructions and new requirements of the superior department.

Cooperate with the external regulatory authorities for the inspection work. Provide relevant information as required and implement the implementation of relevant requirements.
