About the project & the role
Insight Global is seeking a Sharepoint Engineer to join a large retail client here in Vancouver. They will join the Corporate Systems team, which is committed to enabling seamless, best-in-class experiences for their global workforce. Employing a best-in-class strategy for the moments that matter, the Portfolio Strategy & Intake team supports the Digital Workplace platforms inclusive of SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Zoom, and Miro. As an Engineer, you will work as part of a global team supported by our business and architecture partners to help us collaboratively develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions that drive lululemons business goals.
As an Engineer, you will help form the core of their engineering practice, contributing to all areas of development and operations of a production release team (pre-production to production). You will join on a project in the end of the planning phase as it transitions to execution, where you will focus on tightening up Sharepoint file permissions, sharing permissions and implementing file retention strategies. A bulk of work will surround identification of sites/owners in order to consult on appropriate permissions and appropriate file retention. 90% of the day to day work will be centralized undertaking technical deliverables and , with approximately 10% of the role pertaining to meeting participation and supporting others to arrange change management.
Daily Responsibilities include:
Perform and delegate engineering assignments using existing procedures and best practices
Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts
Provide an escalation point and participate in on-call support rotations
Actively monitor key metrics and report on trends
Take part in Agile ceremonies
Participate in our Engineering Community of Practice
Perform reliability monitoring and support as needed to ensure products meet guest expectations
Design, build and deliver scalable Digital Workplace solutions that support our growing business, directly impacting employee productivity and business outcome
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (infrastructure, security, identity, architecture) to align on best practice solutions supporting business needs
Assist with activities related to M365 change management and adoption, user enablement, deployment and lifecycle governance and security
Contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems
Contribute to project engineering design and standards verification

Skills and Requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years of Systems Engineering experience with SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 (M365) platform technologies such as OneDrive and Teams, particularly in implementation projects.
3+ years of experience provisioning and integrating API-based solutions across M365 technologies, with a focus on security, change management, user enablement, deployment, and lifecycle governance.
Strong PowerShell scripting expertise, including:
SharePoint Online (SPO)
PnP PowerShell
Exchange Online PowerShell
Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK
3+ years of experience with Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), including service principal management and applying appropriate permissions for secure and effective access control.
Proven experience in system change, upgrade, and migration projects.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Graph API, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Experience using Jira for project tracking and collaboration.
Bachelors degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Architecture, or equivalent practical experience. Plusses:
Retail Ecommerce experience
Experience onboarding, administration, and troubleshooting of non-Microsoft 365 SaaS solutions like Zoom, Figma, and Miro
Experience with day-to-day tools such as PagerDuty, ServiceNow null
