The Shared Services Section Manager leads the development and execution of a centralized shared services team within the Marketing department. This role manages a high-performing team of early-career professionals and builds a multidisciplinary talent pipeline to serve evolving business needs. The Section Manager is responsible for optimizing internal processes, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving cross-functional collaboration across marketing disciplines, including content, PR, social, brand, creative, sales enablement, and MarTech. This position is instrumental in developing agile service delivery and workforce development aligned to the firm's growth.
Design, lead and evolve the Marketing PR Shared Services program for early-career professionals (0–4 years experience).Manage team rotations across marketing disciplines including owned, earned, shared, and paid media; creative services; sales enablement; and MarTech.Collaborate with Center of Excellence and Go-To-Market directors to align training plans with firm needs.Manage project management tool, Monday.com including updates and training needs.Lead project management professionals who partner with leads of the marketing centers of excellence.Manage day-to-day operations of the shared services team, including intake, triage, and project execution across multiple service areas.Foster a team culture focused on learning, adaptability, innovation, and service excellence.Create and oversee a marketing request intake portal and work distribution model to ensure efficient resource allocation.Drive continuous improvement in processes, quality, and training to meet evolving demands and improve client experience.Develop onboarding, training curriculum, and mentorship for early-career talent.Monitor and report on team performance, capacity, project metrics, and development progress.Coordinate with department leaders to identify placement opportunities for program graduates in GTM teams.Develop expectations for the shared services team to deliver on timelines and expectations with professionalism and creativity.Serve as the strategic connector between marketing operations and delivery teams to foster consistency, scalability, and collaboration.Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and workflows to enhance shared services efficiency.Lead and coach a multidisciplinary team, fostering strong communication, accountability, and development.
