Shared Services Generalist / Recruiter - Hybrid

This hybrid Shared Services role combines 50% recruitment responsibilities with 50% administrative HR duties, providing essential support to ensure efficient talent acquisition and seamless HR operations. In this role, you will provide high-quality support to employees by addressing and resolving a wide range of HR-related questions and issues, or escalating cases to subject matter experts when necessary. You will also be responsible for the administrative processes related to the complete associate lifecycle which includes talent acquisition, onboarding, data changes, leave(s) of absence, and offboarding.
**What You Will Do:**
**Recruitment (50%)**
+ Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to understand hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
+ Source talented and diverse candidates through a variety of recruitment methods and tools including LinkedIn, online job boards, social media sites, college career centers, employee referrals, and networking events. Partner with Vontier Talent Acquisition team to leverage recruitment tools and best practices.
+ Screen and short-list candidates to ensure they have the requirements and qualifications for each role.
+ Create an exceptional end-to-end candidate experience, with timely and impactful communications.
+ Execute on TA-related standard work. Work collaboratively provide structure to the recruitment process with hiring manager and interview team (including but not limited to schedule and coordinate interviews)
+ Ensure compliance with employment-related regulations, and established policies and procedures.
**HR Operations (50%)**
+ Serve as the first point of contact for all associate inquires, including employees, leaders, contingent workers, and others who contact the Americas Shared Services, keeping ‘exceptional employee experience’ top-of-mind. Provide guidance and resolutions for routine HR-related matters, such as benefits, payroll, time off, and system navigation. Escalate complex or specialized cases to appropriate teams or subject matter experts within People & Culture.
+ Responsible for administrative talent acquisition processes in and out of the Company’s Applicant Tracking System, including position requisition creation; offers of employment and pre-employment contingencies.
+ Enter and maintain accurate associate data updates in applicable systems, including onboarding, leave(s) of absence, changes and terminations.
+ Coordinate onboarding activities including employee documentation and, as applicable, employment verification. Onsite presence may be required in certain regions.
+ Maintain associate personnel records in accordance with Federal and State Regulations.
+ Respond timely to requests from external agencies, ensuring compliance with Company policy and applicable regulation.
+ Provide administrative support for local and / or OpCo-specific benefit and incentive programs ensuring timely and accurate execution.
+ Where applicable, assist with payroll-related items such as tracking employee attendance (PTO, leaves) and documentation.
+ Where applicable, assist with accounting-related items such as purchase requests / orders and travel & expense employee data.
+ Where applicable, prepare monthly labor information of employees who provide services under subcontracting to the service area.
+ Other duties as assigned, with or without accommodation.
**Who You Are:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
+ Must be able to speak and write in English. Bilingual English/Spanish or Portuguese.
+ 2+ years’ experience in recruiting for technical, engineering, and professional level roles
+ Must have experience recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt roles.
+ 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, customer service, or a related field.
+ Knowledgeable in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
+ Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is desired (Taleo is a plus).
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
+ Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
+ Quality control—the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
+ Dependability—the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to leadership direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
+ Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
+ Strong organizational and time management skills.
+ Experience with HR systems, case management tools, or ticketing systems is a plus.
