Join Our Team as a Sewing Product Technician at Ferguson!
Ferguson is currently seeking a Product Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and passionate about producing high-quality products in a safe and efficient environment.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Operate industrial sewing equipment to produce geotextile products from woven and nonwoven fabrics.Measure, cut, and handle fabric and strapping materials.Assemble, package, label, and prepare products for shipment.Monitor production processes and report any issues or deficiencies to management.Support and adhere to all safety programs, policies, and practices.Participate in team meetings and communicate concerns or suggestions to leadership.Maintain quality assurance standards throughout the manufacturing process.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (sewing experience preferred).Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., scissors, pliers, powered fabric cutters).Ability to operate various types of manufacturing machinery.Strong attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism.Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.Physical Requirements:
Comfortable working indoors in non-climate-controlled conditions.Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and squat.Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs individually and team-lifting up to 30 lbs.Able to pull heavy fabric while walking.Must wear steel-toe safety shoes and other required protective equipment.At Ferguson, we care for each other. Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
