In this hands-on role, you’ll play a vital part in assembling, testing, and maintaining industrial equipment—contributing directly to the performance and reliability of cutting-edge chillers used worldwide. **What You’ll Do:** As a key member of the Engineering Laboratory Services team, you will: + Perform set-up and tear-down of large, water-cooled chillers. + Connect and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems. + Operate and maintain test setups, identifying and resolving malfunctions. + Calibrate and manage test instrumentation and lab equipment. + Record and report test data accurately and consistently. + Manage lab supplies and ensure a safe, efficient work environment. **Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or GED. + Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. + At least 3 years of experience using hand and pneumatic tools. + Ability to move and lift up to 35 lbs. + Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work under moderate supervision. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with HVAC systems or large commercial/industrial equipment. + Familiarity with 460-3-60 electrical systems and medium voltage power. + Knowledge of pumps, VFDs, boilers, refrigerant handling, and EPA certification. + Experience in instrumentation setup, calibration, and troubleshooting. + Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. + Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus. + Strong PC skills and experience with data entry and test documentation. **Why Join Us:** At PDS Tech Commercial, you’re not just filling a role—you’re contributing to innovation that impacts industries around the world.
