Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Shipping-Receiver to join their team. As a Shipping-Receiver, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping-Receiver

Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Pay Range: $18.50 an hour

Shift: M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality management system related to shipping and receiving tasks. Ensure accurate and timely shipping of all customer jobs, adhering to requested shipping methods and deadlines. Review and transcribe customer documents and instructions accurately onto job tickets. Receive vendor parts, ensuring proper documentation and placement in the quality assurance area. Safely operate shipping equipment and tools to package and secure hydraulic units for shipping.

What's Needed?

Clean driving record required Forklift experience Mechanical or shop knowledge is a plus. Ability to follow and update shipping and receiving training instructions as needed. Strong attention to detail and ability to note special customer instructions. Willingness to learn and operate various shipping tools and equipment safely.
