A European-wide electrical/mechanical Field Service Technician opportunity with an international technology company that provides excellent training, support and career development. After an initial 2 month period of training, the Field Service Technician provides installation, maintenance, problem solving support and user training in the production environments of customer sites, which involves both electrical and mechanical elements. As a Technician you will typically spend 3-5 days a week at customer sites across Europe (as well as 3-4 global trips of 1-2 weeks duration each year) so you need to be comfortable to travel frequently, see the world and be away from home regularly. When in the field you will sometimes work alone and other times be alongside another technician. The role covers both field service (70%) and office-based customer support (30%) so you’ll need to live within a 60-minute commute of X-Rite’s Martinsried site near Munich, or be able to relocate to this area with our support.
