This includes designing and developing engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and knowledge transfer. HOW A TRAINING SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific training projectsProvides solutions to a variety of training programs of moderate scope and complexityPlans and designs instructional methods and materialsIdentifies and recommends training and design solutions to develop program management curricula/programs.Collaborates with subject matter experts to identify audience’s training needsIdentifies best method of training delivery based upon training needs Creates instructional goals and content that supports goals by applying tested instructional design theories, practice, and methodsDesigns visual aids (audio, video, simulations, e-learning modules, role plays, games, tests, etc)Conducts on-site and/or in-house training classes, seminars, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises and discussion groups for customers and/or employeesDevelops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activitiesCoordinates the development of measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventionsMaintains current knowledge of relevant training and technology as assignedStays abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or 2+ years related experience can be used as substituteMust have a minimum of 2 years of related training experience with adult learning methodologiesProficient communication skills in writing and verbal, problem solving, interpersonal skills., training delivery and design using various tools such as MS PowerPoint, or eLearning software. Delivery of classes to participants - proficient presentation skillsSecurity Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain Public TrustServiceNow Fundamentals certification, preferredServiceNow knowledge of Security Operations and Integrated Risk Management, preferred

The likely salary range for this position is $63,325 - $85,675. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
