Servicenow Tester/Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Servicenow Tester.

In this role, you will:

Responsible for ensuring requirements are measuable and traceability, as well as assisting in the designing and executing test strategies, test plans, regression plans and profile based use cases for larger programmes. Ensure that any tests are automated and repeatable where feasible.

Develop and retain a good level of understanding of business and IT systems requirements at Group as well as local level, to enable appropriate support and guidance to be given to Teams.

Apply specialist expertise to determine system changes and testing requirements through review of development documentation and consultation with Business/user groups.

Create the architecture and configuration of test environments and test scenario conditions by providing overall frameworks for all the tests to be performed for a test engagement, including identifying types of tests required.

Support Business/user groups in definition of testing scope, timelines and test environments for all phases of testing, providing assistance and direction to ensure successful implementation.

Analyze test results and defects to substantiate the quality of the application; identifying trends, severity, and characterisation of defects identified by multiple test analysts; and tracking and providing reports of discovered defects. Demonstrate and apply excellent business domain knowledge.

Will work collaboratively with delivery partners and subject matter experts in gathering, translating, and clarifying requirements and defining design options. In systems related projects and programmers, the role holder will support Software Delivery and IT Operations with the translation of business requirements and designs into more detailed functional requirements and designs, often representing the voice of the customer and business in these discussions.

Business Analysts are also responsible for Implementation Management, including planning, controlling, and reporting on implementation of the change ‘product’, focusing on accelerating benefits and minimizing risk

This is a hands-on role that requires proven knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.Service Now ATF expert.

Experience on use of any other testing tools.Articulates or translates complex information in clear, meaningful, and structured way to suit the target audience.Has worked for large organizations – This does not have to be Financial Services.

Has an IT Operations / IT Support background.Has some basic knowledge of Active Directory, SCCM, Microsoft Exchange.Reporting and communications

Must have worked in a scrum team and can work within a group of developers.Must have tested applications for a large customer base (our tool will be used by 300,000 users).

Must have 5 years of testing experience in total. Must be a team player. This project needs strong collaboration skills – team members do not code in isolation.

Worked within IT or preferably Service management.BE/B Tech degree or equivalent experience

Strong interpersonal skills – ability to influence, lead and drive teams to deliver, good judgement, assertiveness, high level of communication skills to achieve effective stakeholder management, build consultative relationships, and ability to collaborate directly with a variety of clients

Implement the relevant compliance policies. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes within which CTO must comply. The job holder will need to pay specific attention to the internal controls on Asset and service management.
