The Principal Business Analyst will join the ServiceNow Platform team at Ecolab. This role partners with individuals across the organization, at various levels, including divisional business teams, product owners, IT teams and ServiceNow team members to facilitate value proposition, requirements and design sessions, and collaboratively define solutions that address key opportunities.

The ServiceNow Principal Business Analyst leads the analysis, design, and optimization of enterprise workflows built using the ServiceNow platform.This role partners closely with business stakeholders to identify requirements, drive process improvements, and ensure successful ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.What you will Do:
Build strategic roadmap of the ServiceNow product (CSM) and leads ongoing product lifecycle governance.Identify opportunities for business-led delivery and provide consultative support in understanding tradeoffs and developing consensus.Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.Conduct process definition, re-engineering, and gap analysis of current and future-state business processes.Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical teams.Prepare and maintain documentation such as requirements, design specs, test plans, and user guides.Lead customer design workshops and support user acceptance testing.Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates and CSM industry trends.Collaborate with project managers to monitor scope, resolve issues, and ensure successful delivery.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).8 years of experience as a business analyst with a focus on ServiceNow, preferably CSM module expertise.5 years in process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design for developing ServiceNow workflows.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.2 years of experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff.Familiarity with agile methodologies and documentation standards.No immigration sponsorship available for this position.Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow business analyst/project experience Now Assist.Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data security best practicesServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CAD) are highly preferred.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and documentation standards
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $130,100.00 - $195,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
