GENERAL FUNCTION:
The ServiceNow Lead Platform Engineer will be responsible fordesigning, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform to support business processes and IT service management. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This includes partnering with stakeholders to deploy new solutions as well as maintaining existing functions. Responsibilities also include maintaining the platform, implementing Releases, participating in Audits, and other technical tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.Configure and customize ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog and custom applicationsIntegrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.Develop and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, data policies, and script includes.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Perform system and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.Maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.Assist with incident and problem resolution for end users and customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.Implement and manage changes to the ServiceNow platform.Maintain ServiceNow configuration parameters to enable desired functionality, performance and security.Identify, prioritize, and respond to security vulnerabilities within the ServiceNow platform.Manage ServiceNow licenses, including tracking usage, optimizing license allocation, and ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.Create and manage reports and dashboards to provide insights into system performance and usage.Maintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance with audit requirements.Maintain effective partnerships with operations and engineering teams to drive service improvement.Provide training and support to end users and other administrators.tay current on IT trends and best practices related to ServiceNow administration and continuously improve processes and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
