Cloudera, Inc. is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our IT organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and modules, working closely with business users across the company to deliver high-quality IT service solutions. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of various ServiceNow workflows, integrations, and custom applications.

As a ServiceNow Developer you will:

Development & Configuration:

Design, develop, and configure solutions within the ServiceNow platform (including but not limited to ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and HRSD).

Customize ServiceNow workflows, user interfaces, forms, and tables.

Create and manage business rules, UI actions, UI policies, and scripts.

Integration & Automation:

Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools, applications, and databases using web services, APIs, and other integration methods.

Develop automated solutions within ServiceNow to optimize business processes and increase operational efficiency.

Customization & Scripting:

Write custom scripts in JavaScript to enhance ServiceNow functionality and user experience.

Develop and customize reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.

Implement complex business logic with server-side scripting (e.g., Business Rules, Script Includes, and Scheduled Jobs).

Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications and features.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within the ServiceNow environment.

Upgrades & Best Practices:

Participate in ServiceNow platform upgrades and version updates.

Adhere to industry best practices and ServiceNow development guidelines.

We are excited if you have...

Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with hands-on expertise in developing ServiceNow applications.

Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and/or HRSD modules.

Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.

Experience with ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, etc.).

Understanding of web services (REST/SOAP) and integration methods (e.g., LDAP, SSO).

Familiarity with ITIL framework and ServiceNow best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You may also have...

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Experience with ServiceNow integrations, including connectors for third-party systems.

Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Virtual Agent.

Experience working with ServiceNow’s reporting and dashboard capabilities.
