This role is essential to delivering high-quality solutions across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules. The developer will work as a core member of a dedicated scrum pod, contributing to sprint execution, platform improvements, and cross-functional collaboration. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Business Systems. Location preference is for candidates based in Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ, but remote candidates will also be considered. **Role Description** + Collaborate within a ServiceNow scrum pod to develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM). + Build and enhance workflows using Flow Designer and scripting tools. + Assist in integrating ServiceNow with external systems using APIs and standard protocols. + Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. + Translate user stories and technical specifications into functional platform features. + Support the creation and maintenance of service catalog items and knowledge articles. + Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues in collaboration with QA and support teams. + Stay current with ServiceNow releases and contribute to platform optimization. + Document development work and follow SHI’s platform governance standards. **Behaviors and Competencies** + Analytical Thinking: Can apply critical thinking to analyze data, identify patterns, and make basic inferences. + Customer-Centric Mindset: Can identify customer pain points and propose solutions to address them. The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
