Job Description:
We are hiring a ServiceNow Developer to take charge of the creation, fundamental configuration, and technical know-how of our ServiceNow cybersecurity installations. In this role, you’ll be asked to offer first-rate training, support, and customer service. Typical Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage ServiceNow installations for the cyber and strategic risk teamsCreate go-to-market proof-of-concept applications on the ServiceNow platformCreate rational, competent-based technological designs from functional specificationsCreate new ServiceNow procedures and workflowsCreate unique service portal pages and widgets to aid the business organizationReview and walkthrough the code of junior team membersOversee development of the ServiceNow solution in accordance with industry best practices to ensure system complianceCreate thorough and organized test plans and suites Estimate, organize, plan, and prioritize testing-related tasksDetermine, record, and track software flawsConduct rigorous regression testing of corrected flawsTake part in User Access Testing (UAT) to get feedback from the UAT Team, ITIL process owners, and clientsControl update sets for the code base’s transfer to test and production environmentsOversee ServiceNow administration, planning, and maintenanceCoordinate vendors for ServiceNow product flawsEducationBachelor’s degree in math, engineering, information systems, or a related fieldRequired Skills and Experience3+ years of relevant experienceKnowledge of CMDB ImplementationDemonstrated expertise in at least two SNOW modules (e.g. ITSM, CSM, SecOps etc.)Expertise in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Proven ability to set up ServiceNow using Business Rules, Client Scripts, sophisticated UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, Script Includes, and UI Scripts to meet needsExperience with JavaScript/GLIDE and HTML5Expertise with REST/SOAP APIs to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systemsStrong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to gather requirements from internal and external stakeholdersStrong analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
