Service Technician - Southern UK

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks a Field Service Representative to join its industry leading sales team.  You’ll be responsible for the service and maintenance of our equipment and innovation across a wide range of industrial customers.  Using your knowledge of water treatment equipment you will provide our customers an exceptional service. With a passion for solving problems and overcoming barriers you will ensure our equipment provides continuous value to our customers.

What You Will Do:

Engage in breakdown fault finding and rectification to minimize equipment downtime.Undertake routine maintenance servicing, ensuring compliance with company procedures is followed.Respond to emergency callouts, providing timely solutions and support.Document all work activities accurately and maintain up-to-date records.Servicing and repairs of water treatment equipment, working on water softeners, Reverse Osmosis, Deionisers, dosing units, chlorine dioxide and chemicals.Managing direct relationships with customers and plant operatives.Completing Service Reports and other associated documentation.Ensuring that all company policies inc. Health & Safety are always observed and abided with.

Territory/Location Information:

This position is based in London and the South East.Extensive travel throughout the South East is required.Customers are within the F&B, Pharma, Light manufacturing, glass industries.Overnight travel required rarely for training and projects.

Training programmes are held in the field and in Leiden, Netherlands. Travel is arranged and paid for by Nalco Water.  Based on your skill level and experience, topics covered may include technology, product, service, business and industry acumen, direct coaching and mentoring, sales management and leadership, classroom training and certifications. 

Qualifications:

5 years experience maintaining water treatment equipment.Deep knowledge of water softeners.Plumbing and electrical qualifications an advantage.
