We’re looking for a Service Engineer's (Generators) based out of Sutton depot, both on a Deport based and Field based basis.

The site is running critical power 24/7

 

This role will include shift work of 4 on 4 off, 3 on 4 off

What you’ll do:

Carry out mechanical equipment maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko equipment including servicing, systematic fault finding and repairs.Carry out daily, weekly and monthly checks on equipment.Responsible for procedural based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems.To complete and maintain paper and electronic records as per site specificsAssisting with the installation and demobilisation of Aggreko equipment.Aggreko places a strong emphasis on Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental protection.  It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for compliance to the Aggreko Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and local legislation, and ensure completion and validity of all minimum QHSE training and objectives required by the company

 

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

Qualified / Part-Qualified Mechanic and or ElectricianExperience of working with generators or in Power plant environmentThe ability to use specialist tools and ensuring all tooling is calibrated in accordance with Aggreko standards and local legislationAbility to work autonomously when required with the ability to coach and mentorGood organisational & communication skillsGood level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applicationsAble to manage a client’s expectations when under pressure, regardless of the situation
