About the role:
As a Service Technician - Water Treatment, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal application of water treatment programs and maintaining the production throughput of customer systems around Auckland and the Waikato. Your responsibilities will include equipment preventative maintenance, water sampling, chemical analysis, utilising on-site technology to complete service reports and chemical inventory management and ordering. We are looking for a team player who is committed to delivering high-quality service and building strong client relationships.
This role could be seen as potentially a developmental role, leading to Account Management and may be suitable for recent graduates who want to be hands-on or practical-minded all-rounders.
Responsibilities:
Perform equipment preventative maintenance, water sampling and chemical analysis to ensure the effective application of chemical treatment programs.
Chemical inventory management and ordering
Utilise on-site technology and complete service reports accurately and timely.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering value-added and focused service.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of our in-field process and water treatment services for potential future development opportunities.
Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to creating a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
Qualifications:
Desire to work in the water treatment and process chemical business.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and resolve issues efficiently.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Ability to perform manual work, including technical water testing and physical activities.
Experience working in an industrial environment or previous water treatment experience would be an advantage.
A valid driver's license.
