Ford of Thousand Oaks Experienced Heavy Line Technician

DCH Ford of Thousand Oaks is expanding our Service Team and is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Line Technician. If you’re an experienced technician who takes pride in high-quality engine, transmission, and driveline repairs, this is your chance to join a well-established dealership with strong service volume and a supportive work environment.

What You Will Do:

Diagnose and repair complex engine, transmission, driveline, and suspension issues.Perform major repairs including engine replacements, transmission overhauls, and warranty work.Conduct multi-point inspections and identify safety or maintenance concerns.Document work clearly and accurately in accordance with Ford and dealership standards.Collaborate with Service Advisors and Parts Department to ensure efficient workflow.Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.

What We Are Looking For:

3+ years of automotive heavy line or powertrain repair experience requiredFord certification or OEM training preferred (but not required)Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsValid driver’s license and clean driving recordAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Bonuses based on Production/Productivity.

The Flat Rate Range for this position is $25.00 - $70.00. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
