Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role: 

Service maintenance of a range of handheld computer equipment, Autostore system and ASRS system including ad-hoc requests and contractual obligations.Management of spare parts stock and ensure that all documentation is in order.Provide weekly and monthly reports on the service and maintenance of customers’ work orders.Provide updates to customers on equipment repairs and spare parts delivery.Implement and improve preventative maintenance schedules and maintenance management systemDevelop service and maintenance practices to improve system reliabilityWork schedule planning to meet operational support and PM program; monitoring of excessive overtime hoursWork with customers to identify operational and equipment improvement opportunities; identification of better revenue streamsInitiate discussions for contract renewals with customers; negotiate for longer term contractsComply with administrative requirements including reporting and timesheetsParticipate in site operations meetings; report on performance and maintenance activities

What We Are Looking For:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electronics / Communication engineering or equivalentMinimum 3 years’ of service experience in the related fieldUnderstanding of OH&S requirements.Ability to work in isolation, make decisions and be results drivenGreat team player and able to work collaborativelyAbility to think outside of the box when solving problemsCustomer focusedAbility to develop and maintain effective on-going relationshipsExcellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skillsGeneral good attitude and workplace behaviourAbility to work after official hours and participate in standby roster for emergency breakdownsAbility to work at heightsAbility to travel to various customer sites in Penang
