Job Title: Service Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Service Technician, who will play an important role in delivering exceptional service and reliable access control solutions including but not limited to Mechanical, Electromechanical and Door Automatics security solutions to our customers. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade a variety of solutions while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting
Master the operation and functionality of company equipment to provide accurate support. Diagnose and resolve issues involving mechanical, electromechanical, and access control systems. Work with timber doors, aluminium frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring. Assemble master-keyed mechanical locks and cut keys.Customer Service & Training
Deliver exceptional service and maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors. Provide training to customers for effective equipment operation. Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving complaints and leaving equipment in optimal condition. Work cohesively with customer service, logistics, and other internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery. Participate in ongoing training programs and maintain certification through ASSA ABLOY Academy. Join on-call rotations after completing required training and certification.Maintenance & Repairs
Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repairs, and system upgrades at customer sites. Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (eg. manual lifting tasks not exceeding 25 kg, climbing ladders, kneeling).
Qualifications:
Minimum Higher NITEC Electrical Engineering / Electronics or Higher Nitec in Security System Integration. Valid Class 2 Singapore driver’s license with good record. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Work Experience:
Preferably minimum of 2 years relevant working experience in a service technician role. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Experience performing on-site maintenance.
Skills:
Ability to install equipment, diagnose problems, make repairs and work carefully with small and electronic parts. Strong time-management skills and an ability to keep to a schedule. Problem-solving skills with a knack for troubleshooting technical issues. Good communication skills & enthusiastic to provide good customer service. High commitment to safety
