In your role, you will: + Marshall, park, secure, tow and start aircraft ; + Refuel and replenish aircraft systems; + Operate light special purpose and general purpose vehicles; + Configure aircraft (solo/dual configurations); + Prepare aircraft for static display; + Wash aircraft and associated components; + Inflate tires; + Maintain tools and equipment required to perform primary duties; + Perform elementary tasks as authorized; + Carry out workplace inspections and clean up Our ideal candidate has: Education: + Grade 12 + Preference given to those who have completed secondary education Experience + Aviation and/or flight line experience preferred + Experience working with equipment such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, production line, farm, car s, trucks, lift trucks, etc. an asset; + Experience working with common hand tools; + Outdoor experience an asset; Other required training or skills + Proven experience as a team player + Good oral and written communication skills; + Able to work shifts, weekends, and/or overtime as required + Possess a valid driver’s license Candidate must successfully pass a security evaluation per the requirements of the Controlled Goods Directorate of Canada and to CAE being able to obtain all necessary re-transfer authorization in compliance with US ITAR regulations . Must be able to obtain a Reliability security clearance.
