Service Technician
As a Service Technician you will be responsible for handling, inspecting, and preparing waste for the incineration process.\n

Essential Functions & Requirements: \n\nPrioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices\nLoads and\/or unloads drums and containers from trucks in a safe and compliant manner\nProcesses and\/or stores hazardous waste materials\nWeighs and breaks down large containers to consolidate into smaller containers\nSamples and inspects all containers as they are received at the facility \nDrives forklift to retrieve drums and containers from storage; operates computer and conveyor\nTransports\/positions trailers and tankers for collection of slag and ash\nMaintains a clean work area \nTakes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization\n\n

Education: \n\nHigh-school diploma or equivalent (required) \n\n

Experience: \n\nPrevious forklift experience (preferred)\nPrevious firefighting experience (preferred)\nHAZWOPER Certificate (preferred)\n\n

Competencies: \n\nAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner\nAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required \nAbility to participate in Emergency Response and Fire Brigade\nRegular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role\n\n
