Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead regional/local marketing and sales activities for products, systems, services within the defined industry segment(s). Each day, you will ensure that the related business substantially increases sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the selected market segments. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the definition of industry group footprint (market presence, execution standards, and delivery model).The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite, #LI-hybridThis role is contributing to the Electrification Service Business based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tDeveloping and implementing a market-based strategy including direct, third party and project sales.•\tDefining key targets (e.g., volume, prices, portfolio mix) and ensures those are achieved for the assigned segment(s).•\tInterpreting the global industry segment strategy to meet region/country requirements and implementing with country specific action plans.•\tDriving the growth of the top line in each target industry segment.•\tAssisting in negotiating complex legal and commercial frame agreements, while identifying and managing risks related to contract agreements and prices across segments.•\tEnsuring ABB’s value proposition for the target segment is developed and well communicated (internally and externally).•\tSupporting local Sales organizations to ensure they are positively perceived in the target segment(s).•\tProviding feedback to the business and product groups on market developments and requirements, while ensuring that major accounts in the segments are identified and prioritized.
Qualifications for the role\tDegree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering field or equivalent. \tKnowledge in Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Switchgear including protection and digital monitoring systems and associated components/devices\tGood network within assigned market segment and experience in Key Accounts Sales, preferably in Data Center Segment and General Industries segment, having broad understanding of sales to large customers and end users.\tProven ability to work across functions and reporting lines with good communication and negotiation skills. Commercially astute. \tPossess knowledge and skills in managing client relationships, driving sales through various channels, and developing effective strategies to reach target segments. \tMust be self-starter and pro-active. Be able to work independently as well as in team.
