Description
Drive and coordinate repair, mods and upgrades and Design for Repair (DfR) development and qualification projects (technical and timeline responsibility)Support implementation of new repair technologies (e.g. additive manufacturing), provide technical shop support and process related non-conformance evaluationsCollaborate with lifing & design engineering, quality and manufacturing to deliver repair solutionsEnsure documentation, tracking and communication of project achievements, risk assessments/mitigations and process qualificationsContribute to cost-out initiatives and process improvements through structured project workCollaborate with global teams and support knowledge transfer across regionsAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related fieldExperience: 15+ years minimumExperience in manufacturing processes, materials behavior, design for manufacturing and/or repair technologies is preferredShown ability to handle technical projects including planning and coordination with an affinity for digital tools and data-driven problem solvingExperience with SAP and Mendix as well as basic programming or data analysis skills (e.g. Python, Excel VBA, SQL) are a plusNew Product IPT (Integrated Product Team) mentality with strong organizational and communication skills for multi-functional collaboration, proactive mentality, customer focused, structured working style and team-oriented attitudeWillingness to travel occasionally (up to 25%) for project and shop support activities and willingness to international partnershipExperience Level
